Tahoe Bear Box Return Policy

Update effective January 1, 2026

At Tahoe Bear Box Co., we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order. 


Sales, Installation & Service Policy

1. Order Cancellations (Prior to Installation). Orders for bear-proof enclosures may be cancelled at any time prior to the commencement of installation. All such cancellations are subject to a 10% Administrative Cancellation Fee. This fee covers credit card processing rates, administrative overhead, and inventory allocation. The remaining 90% of the purchase price will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

2. Installed or Delivered Products: All Sales Final. Tahoe Bear Box Co. products are semi-permanent fixtures requiring professional installation into concrete or specialized footings. Once a product has been installed or delivered, the sale is final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be granted after the installation process or delivery has commenced.

By allowing our technicians to commence installation on your property, you acknowledge and accept the product in its current condition.

3. Service Call Policy. To ensure efficient scheduling for all customers, we adhere to a strict dispatch policy:

Dispatched Technicians: Once a technician has been dispatched to your property (i.e., has left our facility), the service call fee is non-refundable and the sale is final, regardless of whether work is performed (e.g., if the technician is turned away or the issue is resolved prior to arrival).

Advance Cancellations: Service calls cancelled prior to technician dispatch are subject to the 10% Administrative Cancellation Fee.

4. Condition & Warranty Claims The "All Sales Final" policy does not waive your rights under our Limited Warranty. If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect or installation error, Tahoe Bear Box Co. will repair or replace the unit in accordance with our Warranty Policy. Aesthetic preferences or "buyer’s remorse" do not constitute grounds for a warranty claim.

5. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Carson City, Nevada. 

 

How to Initiate a Return 

To request a return, email info@bearbox.org with the following details: 

  1. Proof of purchase (order confirmation with order number) 

  1. Clear photos and/or videos of the installed product showing its current condition 

  1. A brief explanation of the reason for the return 

Once your request is reviewed, we will notify you of approval or denial. If approved, we will schedule the removal and process the return per the terms above. 

Note: Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is accessible for removal. Any additional labor required to access or uninstall the product may result in additional charges that will be deducted from the refund amount. 

By purchasing from Tahoe Bear Box Co., you acknowledge and agree to this Return Policy. This policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion without prior notice.
